Fixing Slow Internet

I can safely say that working from home is the best thing in the world. I love it. Like, right now I’m sitting outside on my laptop. It’s such a sunny day and I didn’t want to miss out on getting some precious vitamin D, so I decided to work in the sun. How awesome is that? If I was in the office I’d have to just work inside all day regardless of the fact that it’s a nice day. Humans weren’t built to stay inside all day, every day. We were meant to be free and spending time in nature. I honestly feel sorry for anyone that is forced to work inside on a day like this. In my opinion, it should be illegal.

I’m so glad that I had NBN installation contractors in the Melbourne CBD come to my house when I began working from home to get my internet sorted. It would be a pain if my internet wasn’t the fastest speed possible. Yeah, I like the laid back approach to life and working at my own pace, but I need fast internet to be able to do that. I’m pretty impatient, all things considered. The last thing I want to do, other than go back into the office full time, is to work in a place with slow internet.

Honestly, I don’t even think my work would let me work from home if my internet wasn’t up to scratch. We have to do video meetings at least five times a week which means I have to have fast speed internet. There’s no way I’d be able to have my camera off for the meetings.

When the contractors came to my house, they actually taught me how to fix slow internet on my own, so that if anything did go wrong I’d be able to fix it. I’m really glad that they did because it’s gotten me out of some sticky situations.
